The Mustang Club Victoria Branch was the first to be established in Australia in 1974 and is now part of a strong national membership of over 2,500 owners.

The Club holds monthly meetings in Melbourne’s CBD in a friendly social atmosphere where Mustangs are the general topic of the evening.

We also hold monthly outings which are generally family oriented.

Mustang Club news is available to members on a regular basis through the Club Magazine while a national edition comes out mid-year.

Even if you are contemplating buying a Mustang, by joining and associating with other owners, you can be helped to get the best value, the right car and the right options by being a whole lot wiser before you set out on your investment.

The Club caters for all Mustangs, 1964 to present models, stock or modified.

If you would like to be part of the Mustang scene and enjoy the company of other enthusiasts, join in the social events and get in touch with solving your Mustang queries, you are welcome to call the Club President on 03 9579 0996 or Contact Us.

Good Evening All,

Please refer to the below message from our President Ian Collins

Dear members,

The time for talk is over, I can smell the fumes, the noise, an awakening of the sleeping giant, this after a slumber period of complete isolation and contemplation. The opening up of the great state of Victoria is on the march. For us all to move and become social again. The possibility of a club meeting excites as much as the rumbling of a V8.

The committee met Wednesday last week and nutted out a few possible scenarios, we are waiting for the announcements on the 22nd of this month to check exactly what the numbers will be allowed to meet. It’s time to check your car’s battery ready to move from slumber to the road. The only battery I get a great run out of belongs to constantly used vehicles. Next is petrol. Get some fresh stuff as we all know modern fuel has a short shelf life unlike some of the movies, where people find vehicles not used since WW2 pop in a battery and away you go. Well I don't think that will happen with modern fuel. Fresh is best, sounds like Coles advertisement but true.

Tony Borg our social director will advise of what’s coming up but rest assured its happening and we now have a glimmer of hope for a Tassie tour. I know our lucky members in Tassie have been touring around their beautiful island. Neil and Dee have been working behinds the lines on that one.

Folks I cannot tell you how excited I am and most looking forward to seeing you all again. The sun is beginning to shine for longer periods and that means mateships will reignite vehicles will stand together as their owners inspect others vehicles and tell tales about the cars. The one thing about mustangs is there are rarely two the same which allows us plenty to talk about. The thing I love the most about our club is there are no car snobs in our club so it does not matter if you own a ‘64 coup with rust or a 2020 Shelby, you are still part of the group that is just plane is besotted by our mustangs.

So let’s get ready to enjoy the greatest hobby in the world, cars.
Cannot wait to see you all soon
Keep on Mustanging

Ian Collins

Hi members, I thought it might be good to get a post running on what have member's been doing in their lives whilst in lock down? There is no doubt that a few projects have progressed in both our love of Mustangs and also in the homes that we live. If you'd like to share with us what you have accomplished please post away.
Thanks Macka

We've played tetris with the cars in the shed after temporarily gaining another mustang but sadly they've all stayed under wraps.

I know it's not a mustang, but i did use a mustang fender cover during this clients engine swap on his C10 pickup

Two power steering rebuilds and still have a small leak so rebuild no 3. And since the complete rebuild (now 450hp) she’s been throwing fan belts off the alternator anytime I give her a decent prod with the right foot. So working through a few options trying to keep her as original looking as possible

Love ShAkErS

All three of our cars have been detailed inside and out. They have also had oil changed and brakes checked and adjusted. In my spare time I have also detailed a prime mover 6 other cars and two motor bikes. Can't wait to get back on the road.

Built a xa falcon coupe!

We bought a convertible to go with the fastback
