23/10/2011 - 2011 Shelby Nationals - Dandenong At the recent Shelby Nationals in Dandenong, there were 22 Shelbys on display which is the highest number of Shelbys ever at an
event. At last years, Vic. State Mustang Round-Up, there were 16 Shelbys that attended. Shelbys ranged from 1965 to 2011.
There were 4 Shelbys judged on the day and all 4 received Gold Awards.
Nez Demaj '67 Green Shelby GT-500,
Steve Lond '68 Black Shelby GT-350,
Joe Calleja '65 White Shelby GT-350
Rob Garnsworthy Red '66 Shelby GT-350.
Joe Calleja brought to the event 4 Shelbys and 2 Original AC Cobra's
which i thought was a great effort. The support from the Shelby owners
was fantastic leading up to the event and also on the day which i
appreciated. It's, Shelby Owners like Joe and others that make a Shelby
Event very successful on the day. I thank them all for their support as well as
the National Mustang Club Of Australia, Victorian Mustang Club and S.A.A.C.
